In 1992, I was the founding member of CyberlabZ. The multimedia collective who produced live visuals, intelligent lighting & laser, VR environments + DJ’ed at Concerts, Festivals, Raves and other Underground gatherings across Southern California. Most memorable were: K-Rave, Narnia, Circa, Future World, Big Wig Thumper. I loved Insomniac, Family and usually started the night @ Club Time. Mostly I was into hardcore 90’s techno, breaks & gabber. Some House & Trance and of course loved the stellar ambient rooms.
This is where began my study of entheogens and their impact on the mind, evolution and culture. Over the years I have participated in gatherings, workshops, retreats, read and listened to the works of Dr. Timothy Leary, Terence McKenna, Dennis McKenna, Albert Hofmann, Richard Evans Schultes, Baba Ram Dass, R. Gordon Wasson, Ralph Metzner, the Shulgin’s, Dale Pendell, Christian Rätsch, Jonathan Ott, Robert Anton Wilson, Carl A. P. Ruck, Ralph Abraham, Rupert Sheldrake, Myron Stolaroff, Jonathan Ott, Danny Staples, Stanislav Grof, Peter Stafford, Bruce Eisner, Rick Strassmen, D.M. Turner, Kathleen Harrison and many more extraordinary free thinkers and luminaries of our time.
In 1998ish, for multiple reasons I chose to I exit the rave scene and business. With every ending, there is a new beginning and it was time for something new.
Today I am happily married with three children. My involvement with the Underground dance movement has faded away and now I am just another guy on the dancefloor @ ultra trendy nightclubs once every couple of months. I still like to mix & when doing so I feel NRG is referring to me, when they sampled “He never lost his hardcore”. I am still up to drop beats, if you’re an interested promoter, holler.
My other interests are represented on this website. I am assuming you are interested in them as well, since you happened to find me here. Today I am most interested in entheogen philosophy, science & thinking. Partaking only in legal ethnobotanicals. I am the proprietor of Gaian Botanicals. Which has been doing phenomenal. Not only business wise. But it has opened so many doors for me to meet some really great people.
